Claims & Liabilities, and Yield Control Management. He had handled all type of aircrafts from viscount to
Being 747 including Combi and Freighter operations.
Eapen was directly trained by SITA (Society International de Telecommunications Aeronotiques) at London in SITA network systems (SITA FAST IV), HDQ Control System and Network Reservations. He was a member of the “KAC FAST IV Automation Working Group” from 1988 to 1994 responsible for the feasibility study of automation (fully or semi mechanization), training and implementation within Kuwait Airways net work including offline stations.
A graduate in Commerce and with two decades long experience in airline operations, he stepped into Travel & Tourism — a new field to him and he has proved his worth here too. He is well versed with IATA rules and regulations. His experience is coming from a rich and diverse career that spans airlines, travel agencies and international organizations like SITA, UFTAA, and FICCI etc. To his passion, he is a DG Professional Instructor licensed by IATA and DGCA (Govt of India) to certify all 12 categories of dangerous goods training to airline, airport, cargo and related personnel.

Mrs Eapen is the Deputy CEO of Speedwings. She takes care of the performance of the management and academic systems, efficiency of the organizational staff and other resources to see that the activities are
being targeted towards the common goals and objectives of the organization.
Her activities involved in the day to day general administration and functions of the institute. She has 25 years’ service experience in medical and hospitality management abroad in European and Middle East countries.
Head Admin & HR
Mala joined Speedwings in 2011 and heads the Administration and HR team. She is responsible for managing resources development and students’ overall competency. Mala works closely with subject matter experts in aviation and travel industry and develops innovative training contents that deliver knowledge, skill and competency for students to meet the global challenges. She is a dual post graduate holder both in tourism (MTA) and Literature (MA). Mala brings over 16 years of teaching experience in Travel & Tourism Management and IATA- UFTAA courses. Well versed in travel management courses, she had various assignments with many of the IATA Authorized training centres. Her experience emerges from a rich and varied career that spans from ATCs and institution that offers Undergraduate and Graduate courses. She was a Guest Faculty for MTM course at department of Future Studies, PGDTM Courses and MA Sociology at Institutes of distance education - University of Kerala. She was a faculty at All Saints College Trivandrum for the B.com -Travel& Tourism department and later, she joined Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies Trivandrum, (KITTS) Govt. of Kerala for MBA and PGDTM training programs. Technically, she holds Diplomas in IATA UFTAA Foundation, IATA Consultant and Diploma in Airline Ticketing and Travel Management. Resourcefully, she is one of the rarely qualified specialists in India having IATA Instructors Professional certifications for both Foundation and the higher level Consultancy courses in India. Additionally she has penned a book on Travel Agency.
Head- Aviation Training
As the senior aviation faculty of SpeedWings from 2011, Mohan brings with him over 35 years of aviation experience and expertise. He is well versed in airport and airline operations as he had various assignments with Air India, Oman Airways, Gulf Air etc. Mohan started his career in 1978 with Air India and within in the span of 18 years of service with the national career, he had specialized in Reservations, passenger handling, baggage processing, cargo, Space control, Aircraft Handling, Load and Trim sheet (Weight and Balance), Safety and Security, Ramp Operations and Dangerous Goods Regulations and he held various senior management positions. In 2003 he joined Oman Air and Oman Aviation Services at Seeb International Airport as Supervisor in Baggage Handling Unit responsible for Oman Air and all the other carriers like British Airways, KLM and Srilankan Airways. Later, worked with Gulf Air at Bahrain as the Ramp Duty Manager from 2007. In 2010he joined RAK Airways as the Senior Airport Manager and started operation from Calicut Station.
Product Lead- Aviation Training
Joseph joined Air India in February 1990 at Trivandrum airport in passenger handling, Flight Handling, and airport operations and later, he became in-charge of cargo division. He had undergone specialized courses in Air Fares & Ticketing, Passenger Reservations, Flight Handling, Cargo and DGR from Air India Staff College, Bombay. He served at Jeddah airport in Saudi Arabia and later he headed the Air India satellite Office at Thiruvalla, where he handled reservations and ticketing besides imparting training to new recruits.His 20 years of experience in the administrative branch of the Indian Air Force was a real boon to furthering his career.He retired from Air India in July 2010 and served at Cochin International Airport as the Manager, Ramp Operations responsible for the ground handling agents. He joined SpeedWings in 2012 with his wide experience in the aviation field.
Product Manager – Aviation Training
As the Product Manager- Aviation Training at SpeedWings from 2016, Ashraf brings with him more than 32 years of experience in combined airline professionalism in airline ground handling, start up, trainings and cost control. His expertise and professional experience emerge from a rich and diverse career that spans ramp and safety, load control, weight and balance. Ashraf started his aviation career in Saudi Arabia at Dhahran International Airport in 1978 and worked in various capacities like Traffic Assistant, shift Leader, Station Controller, Duty Officer and Duty Manager till 1998. Later, he joined Jet Airport Services as Duty Manager at Bangalore International Airport. In 2002, he joined Qatar Airways as ASM (Airport Service Manager) at Cochin International Airport and retired from Seychelles International Airport in Mahe, Seychelles in early 2015. During the 12 years with Qatar Airways, he was instrumental for conducting the feasibility study and the initialization of QR flight operations from Cochin and Calicut International Airport respectively. He had the rare opportunity to get trained by the major airlines like British Airways, Swiss Air, Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Austrian, Qatar Airways and Air India in Load Control Certifications for Weight & Balance and gained expertise to handle DC10, Tri Star, Airbus or Boeing including B747 Aircrafts. He is well versed in Freighter and Combi operations and has the credit in handling Lufthansa and Air France. He is a passionate aviation professional certified with ‘Train The Trainer” and imparts training in DCS, ULD, Ramp Handling, DGR, Airport Security Procedures, Time Management, Emergency Response and Bomb Threat.
Aviation Consultant & Faculty
Ramakrishnan is a certified instructor from CAA/Bahrain and IATA. He has to his credit an extensive two decades of professional experience in airport ground handling activities. Being in this industry since 1993, Ramakrishnan has achieved various accreditations from numerous airlines and airport authorities, namely on area of teaching in Cargo operations, Safety management and Dangerous goods. Qualified and experienced in teaching small and large groups, he has been an instructor with Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain. To his credit Ramakrishna had specialized in IATA Professional Skills for Instructors’ Basic Instructor Programme from British Council and approved trainer for Cathay Pacific and British Airways in Bahrain. Ramakrishan is a Bachelor of Social Science- Sociology from the Kerala University, and started his career in aviation with Jet Airways as a Reservations-cum-Traffic Assistant, at Mangalore in 1993. He joined Gulf Air as Cargo Sales and Services Officer at Trivandrum and later became a Ground Services Instructor at Bahrain with GULF AIR till 2013. Prior to working with Jet Airways, he was associated with the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies Trivandrum, (KITTS) Govt. of Kerala. Ramakrishna joined Speedwings in early 2013
Sr. Executive – Aviation, Logistics & DG Training
Siddhartha joined Jet Airways in 2001 at Kolkata Airport. He was instrumental in launching the airlines’ international cargo operations from Kolkata in 2004 and was recognized with Jet Airways Performance Award for the same in 2005. He was awarded his second Performance Award in 2007, when the carrier topped the Eastern India market in terms of cargo upliftment as well as revenue and was a key member in leading the new cargo team for the results. After eight years of hardcore cargo operations stint with India’s legacy airline, he shifted focus on Cargo & DGR training. He went on to serve IndiGo Airline (then India’s best) as IATA & DGCA –Govt. of India approved DGR Instructor. His next coveted assignment was in Govt. of Dubai’s Emirates Airline (widely regarded as world’s best) as Trainer – Manager for DGR, Air Cargo & Logistics. He was the approved trainer from General Civil Aviation Authority – Govt. of UAE and was awarded with Aviation Business Award 2012 for Best Trainer in Middle East Asia by Aviation Business Magazine, Dubai. Siddhartha later joined Myanmar Airways International (National Flag Airline of Union of Myanmar) as Station Incharge for Kolkata and was heading the entire passenger & cargo operations for the Kolkata station. He was also the focal point of contact for the airline with regulatory and statutory authorities of Govt. of India. Academically, he is a PG in Business Management, MBA in Transportation & Logistics Management and Doctoral Fellow in Materials Management from IISWBM (Govt. of India & Govt. of West Bengal established India’s oldest B-School). He also served as University PhD Supervisor and has been inducted in United Nations’ ICAO Panel of Cargo Experts from 2014. Siddhartha has completed Six Sigma Master Black Belt (highest level quality management certification) from ISSI, Zurich and is a Business English Certificate recipient from Cambridge University, UK.
Director – Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Roy is recognized as a proficient logistician with decades of proven expertise, professionalism and experience in shipping and logistics management. His passion for Logistics and Supply chain management began in early years of his career with Maersk Line in Kuwait and slowly evolved into his interdisciplinary interests as a Logistician. He specialized in the logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning and management systems. Roy brings over 24 years of professional experience with the leading Danish Shipping co, Maersk line in Kuwait, as Sales and Marketing Manager for NSCSA lines (National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia) in Kuwait. He was also responsible for Administration & Marketing Schenker Intl ( Leading German International Freight Forwarder).In 1998, he joined NSCSA in Dubai as Marketing Manager cum Line Co- coordinator. Later, he worked with Clarion Shipping (freight forwarder) Abu Dhabi as Branch.
He joined SpeedWings in 2013 as Director- Logistic and Supply Chain Management and works closely with other logistics in aviation and shipping organizations and global training partners to set the curriculum and practical training programs. His teaching prepares students for a wide range of careers, both inside and outside of Cargo Handling
A competent professional accountant is an invaluable asset to a company. Sini Ginet, our Head – Accounts, has been with us since 2006. She works closely with IATA financial department and coordinates for students’ enrolments and registrations. She holds MBA in Finance and has 7 years of accounting practice.
Senior Faculty- Consultant
Shani is a Post Graduate in Tourism Management and holds IATA diploma in Travel & Tourism Consultant. She is specially trained in all the global distribution systems – Galileo, Abacus, Amadeus and Worldspan. Her career with travel & tourism industry began with SpeedWings in 2004 as a faculty. Through her dedication and hard work, she was promoted as Senior Faculty – T&T Consultant and currently she is in charge of the Computer Lab, handling Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus&Worldspan. She coordinate and supports the off-line and distance learning centres.
Faculty- Travel & Tourism
Graduate in commerce from MG University and an IATA Travel & Tourism Consultant (Level-2) certificate holder. She pursued CRS- Galileo from SpeedWings Academy and went on to join Air India MHB at Cochin International Airport. After a successful year old track record she joined the BWFS- Gulf Air as a Customer Service Agent. She joined SpeedWings in 2016 as Faculty for IATA Travel and Tourism.
Biju is graduated in Commerce in 1993 from M.G University and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Computer application from IHRD. Biju brings over 20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Secretarial works, Administration, Internal Auditing, Purchase (Import) , ISO Implementation etc. in various Industries – Automobile, Travel &Tourism, Logistics, Fire & Safety, Computer Software & networking and proved his talented expertise in sales and marketing . His marketing career started from the metros - Bangalore, Coimbatore & Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and finally revived in Cochin. He joined SpeedWings in 2014 and is responsible for the overall marketing process -.Customer Value and Strategic Planning, Holistic Marketing and Value Exploration and Creation.
Business Development Officer & Faculty - Cargo & DGR
Rakesh joined SpeedWings in 2015 as Business Development Officer Aviation Training. He works with subject matter experts to develop training content that delivers knowledge and skills serving the Travel, Tourism, Cargo, Logistics and Aviation professionals globally. He is responsible for the corporate brand identity management. Rakesh brings with him his experience of a Customer Service Agent with Air India at Chennai. He is a graduate in Tourism studies from SN college and holds IATA Cargo Introductory & IATA- DGCA DGR certification in category 6.
Faculty- BBA(AO) and Business Developments
Prasanth joined SpeedWings in 2015 as faculty in accountancy and business administration. As a business development executive, he actively takes part in counselling the young aspirants at various collegeswith educational and talent development presentations. Prasanth is a graduate in Commerce, Masters in Commerce and has specialized in behavioural sciences and coaching. He is currently pursuing Company Secretary Course also.
As a diploma holder in Computer Science and Engineering, Tinu started her career with SpeedWings as a Public Relation Officer in 2012. She is an expert in organizing, scheduling and planning skills. Awareness of current affairs and a passion for finding out new information is her specialty. She has excellent communication skills that helps her to liaise with admission seeking candidates and their parents in connection with their aviation study needs through telephone, email and face-to-face.
Guest Faculty- BBA(AO)
Bindu is an innovative and knowledgeable, well-qualified and result oriented Teaching professional. She has over 12 years of professional experience in various positions with challenging responsibilities and duties. Bindu started her career as a Human Resource Manager of an Offshore IT development company. Her strong passion for the teaching profession she diverted from the IT to education field. She joined SpeedWings in 2014 and was responsible for the overall development of youngsters seeking graduation in the aviation segment. She believes that the two major components for great teaching are theexpertise in the subject-matter and the quality of instruction. Her academic interest made her proficient in developing novellesson plans and activities for better understanding of conceptual knowledge. Academically she holds two Masters , MBA in HR and M Com in Commerce.
Guest Faculty –Personality Development & Soft Skills
As a Master Trainer of SpeedWings Aviation Academy for Personality Development & Soft Skills, Jose brings over 20 years of training experience in the Gulf and in India. Well versed in training, he had various assignments with the Church groups, Toastmasters, School& College Students & Teachers and Corporates. His career began with Godrej and later, Jose moved to the Gulf and held various commercial assignments exposing him tonumerous challenges, making him to stretch his abilities and hone his skills. Jose is an active member of the Toastmasters International since 1999, an excellent forum that opened up a totally new horizon of possibilities to explore and improvise creatively his communication and leadership skills, qualifying him to achieve all the Toastmasters credentials, including the top coveted DTM award. Jose is graduated in commerce with honours from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, and Diploma in Marketing, MA in Psychology, ME Leadership Certification Exam (IBTA), UK and currently, he pursues PG Diploma in International Business Operations. He mainly focuses on imparting English conversation, voice & accent, interview skills, Time Management, Goal Setting, Observation Skills, Motivation Techniques, Memory Improvement Training, Effective Listening, Mannerismin public places, Telephone Etiquette and grooming.
